A-Team: The Movie … You Better Believe It
Daily Musings | Tuesday 9 June 2009 by Richard Blayney“In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.”
To my amazement and excitement I just learned tonight that the A-Team is going to the big-screen with a movie due for release on 11 June 2010. This is superb news …
It appears the story will be set around a group of Iraq veterans who are wanted by the Government for a crime they didn’t commit, as the movie brings the A-Team to a modern audience. I often wondered how they could replace the original cast of legends but just one look at the potential cast list and you can see that this will actually work:
Bradley Cooper — Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck
Bruce Willis — Col. Hannibal Smith (rumored)
Common — Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus (rumored)
Woody Harrelson — Capt. H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock (rumored)
I am pencilling the 11 June 2010 into my calendar as we speak!!!
